Outlines eligibility criteria necessary for Iowa Nurse Aide Written Examination
E1- Iowa State Approved Nursing Aide Trained Candidate- A candidate that has successfully completed a DIAL approved CNA course.
•A DIAL-approved CNA course is a training program that meets the standards set by the Department of Inspections and Appeals and is specifically approved for candidates who wish to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in Iowa.
E2- Iowa State Nurse Aide Challenger- A candidate who has successfully completed independent training and would like to challenge the Iowa State Nurse Aide Written Exam.
•In Iowa, you can become a CNA without completing a state-approved CNA course if you have prior formal training and are able to successfully "challenge" the required written and skills competency tests.
